Who is the Data Controller?
The data controller is Tradetime s.r.o. as the operator of carspecto.com. The following cookies and similar local storage technologies are used on this website:
- to ensure authentication and protection of access to the website (necessary);
- to remember your selected display language (functional);
- to remember the visitor's decision regarding cookies (functional).
Legal Basis for Processing
The collection of cookies may be considered processing of personal data. Processing is possible on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Necessary cookies are processed without consent as they are technically indispensable.
Declining in the cookie bar on your first visit records your choice and prevents the bar from reappearing; this choice can be changed at any time by clearing stored data in your browser settings. Carspecto does not currently use any cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking — the only cookie beyond the necessary site-access cookie is functional and tied to a feature you explicitly use, remembering your selected display language, so there is currently no separate reduced-cookie mode to opt into.
If the visitor objects to necessary cookies, the full functionality of the site — in particular access to protected content — cannot be guaranteed.
Overview of Cookies Used
Carspecto uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service — it sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device, and only measures aggregate, anonymised traffic data (e.g. page views, referring site, approximate country, device type). Carspecto does not use any marketing or remarketing cookies.
